The plan:
Very small HT satellites for my brother in law. He was looking for an inexpensive sub sat HT system. Looking descent sound quality in a small inexpensive package. $150 budget on the 5 sats.
The cabinets:The mains and rears are around 1L 7"H x 4.5"W x 4.25d" 1/2 MDF sealed.
The center is around 1.2L 4.5H x 10.5W x 4.5D 1/2 MDF Sealed
I am using 3" TB PE#264-812 and the $1 poly tweeter from ApexJR.
Total Xover parts (all from PE) = $43.38
6 3" TB drivers (with PE price break) = 68.76
5 apexjr tweeters = $5
peel and stick black ash= $12.60
1 sheet 1/2 MDF = $12
Totals $142 for a 5 satellite HT.. Not bad at all.. I am still $8 under budget!
